Spring Break 2027 to AUSTRIA, GERMANY, and SWITZERLAND
The MHS Travel Club is thrilled to announce an unforgettable trip during Spring Break 2027 to AUSTRIA, GERMANY, and SWITZERLAND for our Mooresville High School students! This adventure promises 10 days filled with exploration, connection, and charm and is open to all current 7th-10th graders!
What’s in store: This tour kicks off in Vienna, where you'll explore the grand Schönbrunn Palace, enjoy a wiener schnitzel dinner, and experience an evening of classical music. In Munich, take in historic sights like Marienplatz and the Olympic Stadium, and visit the powerful Dachau Memorial. Cruise through the Alps with stops at the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle and the luxurious Linderhof Palace. Then it's on to Switzerland for a scenic Lake Lucerne cruise, a mountain adventure, and fondue fun. Cap it all off with a visit to Heidelberg Castle before heading home full of stories, photos, and incredible memories!
Ms. Agar will be hosting an informational meeting in the Mooresville High School Cafeteria on Monday, April 28th, 2025, at 7:30 pm for you to learn more. Registration for this meeting is mandatory, and all registered attendees will receive an additional discount at the time of tour enrollment. RSVP here: https://bit.ly/4llsK4k
From Ms. Agar: "Student travel has become one of my favorite parts of being an educator. There’s something really special about watching students experience a new place for the first time. Educational tours provide students with the opportunity to expand their horizons, learning more about the world and their place in it, and they come home transformed. Students return with more confidence, a stronger sense of independence, and real-world skills that matter, and I'm so grateful that we can offer this opportunity for our students in MGSD."
Want to travel sooner?! Limited spots remain for SPRING BREAK 2026 in COSTA RICA! This trip is designed for our adventure lovers and will be jam-packed full of incredible experiences. Open to current 8th-11th graders (and parents!). Find all trip details and enroll here: www.eftours.com/2680790TY
We look forward to seeing everyone at our interest meeting on April 28th!

School / Bus Safety Notices for parents - please read
Parents: we've seen an uptick recently in cars driving through the top bus lot (by gym) at dismissal time (2:50 - 3:00pm) when buses are loading students. This is a serious safety concern! Parents must use the main entrance and either wait in line or park in the front parking lot. Please do not cut through the top bus lot when buses are there, especially when students are crossing.
Also, a reminder from MGSD and the Mooresville Police Department: it is against the law to to pass a stopped school bus with lights flashing - we are still have stop arm violations daily and MGSD and the MPD do prosecute these incidents. Make sure you stop and keep our students safe.
Finally, if you're able / willing to drive a bus, MGSD is still looking for drivers! We need your help getting students to school safely. Thank you for your help!
