Mooresville Middle School

A Message from Mr. Kosal:

MMS is All Heart!

This is Mr. Kosal, proud MMS principal. Next week is Assistant Principal Appreciation Week and we at Mooresville Middle are truly blessed to have 3 incredible APs!

Mrs. Richardson, 8th grade, excels at organization and logistics! Her dedication to manage the facilities, buses, school safety, and testing allows our teachers to breathe easy and focus on their lessons.

Dr. Browning, 7th grade, has built our student support system for students (MTSS) from the ground up! She's revamped how our school provides extra supports in reading, math, and behavior and she's also instrumental in organizing teacher celebrations and evaluations.

and Mr. Bost, 6th grade Admin Intern, has been observing and learning and growing in his leadership strategies all year. He will be a fantastic school principal for MGSD students in the years to come!

Thank you Here's what you'll find in this week's newsletter:

  • Teacher of the Year & Beginning Teacher of the Year announced!

School Librarian Appreciation Day!

We want to celebrate our incredible School Librarian / Media Coordinator, Ms. Jaclyn McAllister! Ms. McAllister, former math / science teacher for MMS and SBMS, has done an INCREDIBLE job this year within the MMS media center (a.k.a. The Atrium). She's made The Atrium feel inviting and welcoming for everyone and she’s always quick to support our students and teachers with their learning. She also runs the MMS social media accounts to keep families informed of the great work we're doing at Mooresville Middle School. Thank you, Ms. McAllister for being #All Heart and for everything you do to support our school!

Mark your calendars: MMS Theater Arts performances are coming soon!
