MMS student expectations for Remote Learning on 12/3/24

Due to inclement weather, MGSD has decided to make today a Remote Learning day. Here's what that means for your Red Imp student: 

Instructional Format:
Today is an asynchronous (independent work) day for MMS students. Today will not include live instruction and will only include independent work at home.

Teachers have been directed to either a) post on Canvas what the work expectations are for students to complete today at home, asynchronously. Those are most commonly posted in Announcement for each Canvas class. Or, b) in case of no power / internet, teachers may rely on the previously created Emergency/Virtual Lesson Plan for today that should be posted on their Canvas page. 

For questions about classwork, please have your student contact the teacher via email or Canvas. 


Attendance: 
Students' attendance for today will be taken via today's independent work turned in by students within 5 days after returning in-person to school.

*After-school events today are TBD; more information will be sent via Parent Square later today based on weather and safety to travel.
