School Nutrition Information for Fall 2020

Greetings from MGSD School Nutrition!

We are excited to jump back on board the Yellow School Buses and serve MGSD students during our 9 weeks of Plan C. In addition to Yellow School Bus Meal Stops, we will have curbside pickup at South Elementary School, Park View Elementary School, and Mooresville Intermediate School.

As you know, we began our experience with serving children in this unique setting when the schools unexpectedly closed in March and continued to serve our students meals all summer long. This has given us time to implement and improve our protocols and be in line with the ever-evolving CDC and DHHS recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, we are excited to announce that we will be able to offer menu choices! You will be able to order online at https://mgsd.nutrislice.com and pick up your order.

MGSD School Nutrition is regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Unfortunately, the USDA has not extended the free community meal service program into the school year. We will be able to provide meals at no cost through August 31, 2020.

After August 31, 2020 Meal Prices will be as follows:

• Breakfast - $1.00
• Breakfast - Free (if there is a 2020-2021 Approved Free or Reduced Price Meal Application on file)
• Lunch K-6 - $2.15 7-12 $2.40
• Lunch K-12 - Free (if there is a 2020-2021 Approved Free or Reduced Price Meal Application on file)

To make meal delivery safe and easy, please pay online at https://k12paymentcenter.com/ before you pick up your meals. You can also download the K12 Payment Center APP at that link.

There will be two icons on the desktop of your child's school technology device for ordering from Nutrislice and paying for your child's meals through K12 Payment Center.
